About us
Born from our own everyday lives.
Adminstair is a product of The Garage Devs. We started it while building mikstay.com, the platform that helps owners of rental apartments with payments, cleaning, repairs and guest messages.
Along the way we noticed something: we were solving the same problems we had in the apartment blocks we live in ourselves. The administrator's notebook, the WhatsApp group where every notice gets lost, the corridor light that waits for weeks.
So we took what we had built for MIKStay and adapted it for the building. Adminstair is inspired by the stairwells we live in ourselves.
Questions
What people ask us most.
Do residents need to install an app?
No. Adminstair opens in the phone's browser, from the link they receive on WhatsApp or SMS. Anyone who wants can add it to their home screen like an app.
How do residents sign in?
You create the account from the unit's page: a username and a temporary password. At first sign-in the resident sets their own password. Nobody signs themselves up.
Can we keep our WhatsApp group?
Yes. Adminstair doesn't replace the building's chat; it just means payment reminders, notices and cleaning turns no longer depend on you.
Do residents pay online?
Not yet. You record cash or bank payments, and the resident sees the balance and receipt right away.
What can residents see?
Only their own unit: balance, payments and receipts. For the building they see common-area repairs, todos and notices, and the expenses you make public.
We don't need every module.
Each building has its own switches. Turn off cleaning, the report or messages when you don't need them; no data is deleted.
